| Hawkeye & Friends is a no-kill rescue and sanctuary which means the dogs are not put to sleep because they are hurt, sick or older. They receive all the love & care they deserve, with most of them spending the day running, playing and wrestling with their "brothers & sisters." Here's a great way you can help these wonderful animals - join Buck's Club and "sponsor" one (or two?) of them with donations that go towards the cost of their care. The biggest costs are normally their vet care (vaccinations, medications, occasionally their vet care may be more involved. For example, Ranger, pictured above, had an enlarged bladder and the diagnosis & treatments cost $425. "Baby," the Pekinese, is epileptic and is on daily medication which costs about $30 a month). If you are interested in becoming a member of Buck's Club and would like to sponsor a dog or two, just send an email to Mike at hawkeyesrescue@yahoo.com and tell me you would like to be a sponsor. The amount of your donation is up to you - $10 a month, $20, $50 or more. Or you can make one big donation; what's ever easiest for you. Of course your donations are tax deductible since Hawkeye & Friends is a registered 501 (c) (3) organization. All donations help me continue my mission of saving & caring for these wonderful animals.
